【Learn about Umm Kulthum and her masterpiece 】★ "Ana fi intizarak" CHOREO & BASICS, "TABI YOGA" from Turkey & Greece, "Arabic lyrics WS", etc.. + *

Hello everyone! ★

I'm Nadia, a Japanese belly dancer living in Singapore.

Summer is finally here.
We need to build up our physical strength before it gets really hot, don't we?

In the early summer of this year, I feel like dancing orientally to Egyptian classical music..♪

Would you like to join us? :)

Lately, I've been doing a lot of intense choreography (lol), but this term, I'm going to go back to the Egyptian style and expand on the feminine, high-quality, and bewitching expressions from the center of the navel, which is the best part of Oriental dance.

A selection of Egyptian songstress Umm Kulthum's famous song "Ana fi intizarak" (I am waiting for you) sung in 1943. We will use this audio which begins with the beautiful kanoon taxim played by GASTON CHAADE, which was also used in the assigned song last term. You'll be drawn in right from the start of this song.

Actually, I've been looking for a sound source for "Ana fi intizarak" since I've been wanting to dance to it for a long time, but I couldn't find the sound source that I liked, and I was missing out on opportunities, but when I came across this version of audio, it resonated with me. , the moment I listen to it, the image of dancing came to mind. Encounters with sound sources are really important, especially when working as a choreographer. I can't waitt to share it with you all soon.

Let's dance to this wonderful piece of music with beautiful choreography, taking plenty of breath, and using the leeway of an adult and high-quality technique.

We welcome those who are not good at intense choreography, those who like good old music, those who are interested in Egyptian music, those who want to learn about Umm Kulthum, those who have not exercised in a long time, and those who are introductory or beginners to belly dance. All of you are welcome to our class.

We start accepting applications for online and studio classes now.

Now. In June, Nadia will be traveling to Istanbul, Turkey and Athens, Greece for a while to study dance. It seems that she actually left her soul behind in the Mediterranean area where I traveled last year, and I would like to visit that place again.

When I was just starting out as a belly dancer, first traveled to Alexandria, a port city on the Mediterranean Sea in the northernmost tip of Egypt. The town was founded around the 3rd century BC by Alexander the Great of the Greek Kingdom of Macedonia.

And even from Istanbul, where I visited last year, I was looking at Greece from the side to the west. The original city of Istanbul was also founded by the Greeks around the 7th century BC. When I think that civilization was already beginning here when Japan was in the Jomon period (or even before that), I am trembling at its grandeur.

The city of Istanbul, which lies between the Egyptian civilization and the Mesopotamian civilization, has a deep history etched in the old history of Greece and Turkey in particular, and between the Eastern Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire, like a mosaic pattern. My interest continues to bubble up like a fountain.

I will probably visit this place many times in the future and continue to be fascinated by it, but in the summer of 2024, I will travel back and forth between Athens and Istanbul, record the feeling of the trip, what I saw and heard, and what I learned, and post it on Instagram from time to time.

Please check it.

In the future, we will reflect this in our dances and utilize it in the creation of our works, so please look forward to it.

By the way, I will be posting updates on Instagram from time to time about the RAKKAS ISTANBUL festival, which is the main event of this trip to Turkey.

This year again, Nadia will be the star guest at the event's opening gala show and will also serve as a judge for the competition. If you are coming, let's learn together and have fun together.

I'm very happy to see that the number of yoga students has increased recently.

If you have not tried NADIA ONLINE's yoga yet, we recommend that you take"YORU YOGA" (evening yoga)  first. Even those who thought they were not good at yoga will definitely be satisfied with this content.

_________

Before going to bed
90 minutes to create a BEAUTY

It drains lymph throughout the body and leads to a rich sleep.
The next morning, your swelling will be reduced and your face will look smaller and more beautiful!
________

Evening yoga is a class with a lot of stretching. The purpose is to help you get a good night's sleep and feel 1 year younger the next morning! ! ! Seriously  ! :)

If you order a lymphatic massage at a beauty salon, it will be very expensive. You can do that on your own even if you don't go, so I would like you to try it at out "YORU YOGA" (evening yoga). I want you to try participating in the full 90 minutes at least once, without joining late or leaving earlier, should be full attend at once please.

"YORU YOGA" (evening yoga) begins with a very careful massage of each toe and toe of the foot to drain the lymph nodes. Afterwards, move slowly, stretch, and repeat deep breathing to keep the lymph flowing throughout your body, including your calves, thighs, pelvis, spine, flanks, solar plexus, collarbone, neck, and top of your head.

Basically, all organs are controlled by sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves, with the sympathetic nerves acting as the accelerator and the parasympathetic nerves acting as the brakes. In "YORU YOGA" (evening yoga),  we guide the parasympathetic nervous system to its dominance, putting you in a state where you can easily rest and relax.

The next morning after a good night's sleep, you'll feel lighter all over your body, the sagging around your face will be removed, and you'll feel completely rejuvenated.

Actually, I would like to hold it every night... but everyone seems like being busy, thus, we hold "YORU YOGA" (evening yoga) once a week for 90 minutes on Wednesday nights.  Isn't it a loss if you don't show up, is it?

・I want to improve the quality of my sleep
・I want to improve my skin condition
・I want to eliminate swelling and sagging

________

"HIRU YOGA" (daytime yoga is
60 minutes to create STRENGTH as dancer

Build supple muscles
Get a body that can dance!
________

"HIRU YOGA" (daytime yogais a class that includes a lot of muscle training in addition to stretching. NADIA ONLINE's  "HIRU YOGA" (daytime yoga) is much easier to get in shape than going to the gym or yoga studio. Free content on Youtube is good you think, but honestly, isn't it sustainable for you? Lol

It can be anything, so it's important to set a goal (to get a toned body, lose weight, etc.) and continue doing it little by little.

Do something before your body becomes as hard as a fossil as you age. Please know that your body, like a plant, repeats its metabolism and grows. I would like you to try participating in "HIRU YOGA" (daytime yoga) class to prevent your body from deteriorating over time, but rather to improve it over time.

Now. We have great news!

Thank you everyone for waiting! Mr. Ehab's "Arabic Language WS" is back!

This time's theme song "Ana fi intizarak" is a famous song that everyone who is learning belly dancing has probably heard at least once, but it is often used as an instrumental song, thus, it seems that there are many cases where people dance to a song without knowing that it has lyrics.

Nadia herself has already learned the content of this song from Teacher Ehab two years ago, so Nadia can briefly tell you the details about the song in regular lessons. However, if you wish to learn it deeper, i recommend you to learn from Teacher Ehab. The way you understand the point is much better learning from Teacher Ehab than learning from me (Japanese teacher). This is why I organised this workshop for you all.

This time, the sound source we dance to is also an instrumental, so if you don't attend the workshop you can still complete the choreography no worry!

But I'm sure, by learning the in-depth content from Mr. Ehab, the way you express yourself and approach Oriental dance will change when you listen to, or dance Egyptian music in the same way.

Since we are Asia, it is difficult for us to dance with the same sensibilities as Egyptians, but I feel that learning songs which is sung by real artists and learning the meaning from real elite teachers will make a big difference in your learning process.

Mr. Ehab is currently extremely busy with his work as an interpreter at the embassy (he doesn't have much free time, so it's actually difficult to make his booking tho), but he has taken on our offer as this special opportunity. I really appreciate it.

So, why not? Join us!
Don't miss this chance.

Applications for this project will only be accepted from those who wish to participate. Separate tuition fees are required.

Also, this time we are allowing non-NADIA ONLINE members to participate. It is also possible to take Arabic ws only without regular lessons (choreography), so if you are interested, please apply.

Due to preparations, the application deadline will be June 10th (mon). We will create a group chat exclusively for applicants and invite them. This course comes with Arabic lyrics, reference materials, and an archive (valid for 1 month).

Are there any reasons why you have given up on starting, such as not having a teacher near you that you want to learn from? There are no belly dance classes in the first place?

“NADIA ONLINE on ZOOM” is a popular lesson that started during the coronavirus pandemic. You are free to turn the screen on or off, and you are free to join or leave midway, so if you are embarrassed to be seen dancing, turn off the screen, or on the other hand, if you want to improve by dancing with the screen on, you can do it at your own pace. You can participate in the lesson with this stance.

All of the lessons we offer are professionally taught by Nadia. I won't cut corners lol. She has traveled to Turkey and Egypt, the home of belly dance, many times to train and is currently performing and teaching in various cities in Asia. We have won many awards in competitions, and in recent years have also had a wealth of experience as a judge, so we are able to provide accurate advice and guidance.

In addition, lesson fees are also low, which can only be achieved online. You can take the course for a monthly fee of $150 (¥12,500) / 1 month, or as a package for $250 (¥20,000) / 2 months.

It is a term system, and you will master the choreography of one song over two months (8 weeks) per term! You can take as many lessons as you like, 4 days a week, 3 classes a day, and 40 classes a month. You can attend as many classes as you like without making a reservation, including basic classes, choreography classes, and yoga classes. You will also receive an instructional video once a week so that you can learn the choreography even if you miss a lesson.

We also hold a wonderful hula event where we can share what we have learned.

[NEWS] TOKYO HAFLA vol.4 date and time has been confirmed!

"TOKYO HAFLA vo.4"

Date and time:  December 21st (Sat) 12:00 - in Tokyo (Japan)
Contents:  This is the hottest event of the year, held every winter in Tokyo. The performers are members of NADIA ONLINE! As the culmination of a year's worth of rehearsals, the performance we have prepared will shine on stage, produced by NADIA. This year it will be a lunchtime event, so you don't have to worry about the last train lol. Entries will start soon. Details will be sent separately to members in June. Please wait a moment.

What shall we dance this year? Let's get excited and start preparing.

We are also considering planning a live performance for Tokyo HaFura next year. Please increase your repertoire of Egyptian and Turkish classical music this year. In preparation for the projects after Vol.5, I would like to face my daily practice and evolve while imagining the songs I would like to try in the future and myself growing up.

We will also be interviewing everyone, so please let Nadia know your opinions and wishes.

「ELITE RAQS SHARQI RENDEZVOUS」featuring KAZAFY (Egypt)

Date and time: September 27th (Friday) to September 29th (Sunday) in Singapore
What: An authentic Egyptian-style festival featuring Egyptian superstar and master teacher Kazafi will be held in Singapore this fall. A gorgeous gala show will be held with young Chinese superstar Sama-kun (whom I've secretly been a fan of for a long time), South Korea's Mi Jin, and other famous dancers from Singapore as guests. Nadia is scheduled to perform at the gala show, but since the stage is large, we would like to recruit people who would like to perform with Nadia. How about dancing GASTON CHAADE?

The details will be sent separately via email to NADIA ONLINE June members.

There's also a competition. It appears that "overseas star guests" will be the judges, and the champion will be decided after fair judging. The venue was Goodman Arts BLACK BOX, which is also Nadia's favorite. I personally highly recommend it, as it provides a comfortable environment for those participating in the competition to dance on a very spacious stage with a high ceiling. Workshops will also be held.
